About me
Dr. Ho is an associate professor for UCSF’s Bioethics Program and clinical associate professor at University of British Columbia’s Centre for Applied Ethics. She is also the vice president of Ethics for CommonSpirit Health’s Northern California Division. An international scholar with over 90 publications, Dr. Ho focuses her research on ethical dimensions of innovative and artificial intelligence technologies in health care, trial design ethics, supportive decision-making, and end-of-life care with specific emphasis on systemic and social justice issues. She is an elected fellow of The Hastings Center and author of Live Like Nobody is Watching: Relational Autonomy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence Health Monitoring.
