About me
Dr. Feeley is chief of the UCSF Division of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery and director of the MITO Lab (Muscle Injury and Translational Orthopedics Laboratory). He specializes in using arthroscopic procedures to treat shoulder and knee injuries in athletes and non-athletes. His expertise includes rotator cuff tears, shoulder replacements, ligament injuries, and meniscus tears. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Kappa Delta Award. Since joining UCSF in 2008, Dr. Feeley has held various leadership roles in the orthopedic surgery residency and sports medicine fellowship programs. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University before completing a residency at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center as well as a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he served as an assistant team physician for the New York Giants.
