About me
Dr. Bailey is an associate professor jointly appointed with the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences. With over a decade of research experience in orthopedic health outcomes, she specializes in lumbar spinal conditions and low back pain. Her focus involves identifying biomechanical phenotypes and exploring interactions between musculoskeletal pain phenotypes. As part of the Musculoskeletal Research Consortium (METRiCS), she develops precision-based digital health technology to enhance clinician and patient engagement in treatment and recovery. After earning her master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Washington, Dr. Bailey completed post-doctorate research at UCSF.
