About me
Dr. Collins is an assistant professor and principal investigator at the UCSF Laboratory for Musculoskeletal Crosstalk. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms driving tissue interactions in osteoarthritis and related conditions as her lab leverages interdisciplinary approaches in bioengineering, endocrinology, and physiology. She received the New Investigator Recognition Award from the Orthopaedic Research Society and was named a Rising Star in Engineering in Health by Columbia University. Dr. Collins earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary and completed her postdoctoral studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
