Dr. Davies is an assistant professor in the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and clinician at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Focusing on complex shoulder and knee problems and sports-related injuries, Dr. Davies emphasizes personalized treatment plans and evidence-based medicine. His research on mesenchymal stem cells in tissue regeneration has earned multiple prestigious awards in addition to his work being widely published and presented at national and international conferences. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UCSF before pursuing a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
