About me
Dr. Blake, a leading voice on issues of equity and diversity in higher education, is UCSF’s vice provost of student academic affairs and dean of the Graduate Division. She previously served as senior associate dean for admissions and student affairs in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at University of Texas Health San Antonio, where she expanded recruitment efforts to attract students from historically underrepresented backgrounds and gained financial support for retaining, supporting, and nurturing a more diverse student body. Dr. Blake earned her master’s degree in biology from UT San Antonio and her doctorate in neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis.
